How a StockArena fund runs, end-to-end.
The fund
One mentor — pro, retail, or somewhere in between — and a small group. That's it. No classroom of thirty. The size matches a real coaching relationship, not an event.
The mentor brings the worldview and the time. Students bring the curiosity and the trades. The app records and amplifies what happens between them.
The contest
Each student gets $1,000,000 of virtual cash and six months of paper trading. Whole shares only. US, Hong Kong, London, Tokyo, more — converted to USD. Live quotes from Finnhub. Market and limit orders, take-profit and stop-loss brackets.
A small symbolic prize at the end. The real outcome is the relationship with the mentor and the recordings that feed our library. Each fund is its own contest on its own subdomain — your fund's data isn't visible to any other.
Between sessions
The AI is wired into what each student is actually doing. Every trade triggers a contextual explainer. Every week brings a fresh lesson framed to their portfolio. Concepts get explained at their level, in the language their mentor uses. The result is a constant feedback loop — action, explanation, action again — that turns the day's market moves into the day's lesson.
What it doesn't do: give stock advice. The AI is a coaching assistant trained on the mentor's philosophy — the mentor is still the coach.

Daily app use. Live video sessions, cloud-recorded — every one feeds the library. The mentor reviews recent trades, preps talking points, runs the meeting, drops feedback into inboxes after.
Optional fund chat board for shoutouts and trade comments — system-posted trade cards keep the channel warm even on quiet days. AI never posts unilaterally.
The result
